Bio

Arman Ahmadi is a Ph.D. student and research assistant at the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering, University of California, Davis. Arman received his M.Sc. in Civil Engineering (Environmental and Water Resources Engineering) and his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering both from the University of Tehran. As a graduate student, he ranked first between all his peers at the School of Civil Engineering. Arman has published different articles in peer-reviewed journals and papers in conference proceedings. He has worked as a teaching assistant in different courses. His research interests include social and institutional aspects of natural resources management, uncertainty analysis of environmental models, data-assimilation and computational modeling of complex natural processes, and application of machine learning in biological and agricultural engineering.
