Bio

EL HACHIMI CHOUAIB is a visiting scholar at the Biological and Agricultural Engineering (BAE), Daccache’s Advanced Irrigation lab. CHOUAIB is a PhD candidate at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) Center for Remote Sensing Applications (CRSA). CHOUAIB received his High School degree in Mathematics, then joined the Faculty of Sciences of Chouaib Doukkali University (UCD) where he received his Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, majoring programming and databases, and his master's degree in Business Intelligence and Big Data Analytics (BIBDA).  His thesis work focuses on the potential applications of artificial intelligence, geospatial big data and remote sensing toward implementing smart and sustainable agriculture. His research interests include machine learning, big data analytics, remote sensing, precision agriculture, image processing, natural language processing, IoT, distributed systems, and blockchain, and their applications in solving real-life problems.
