Collaborator & Software developer
Kasem Pinthong is a water resources engineer and GIS software developer with extensive experience in hydrodynamic modeling, irrigation system design, and decision support system development. He holds a Doctor of Engineering in Water Resources Engineering from Kasetsart University and completed postdoctoral training at Brigham Young University. With over two decades of professional experience, he has led and contributed to major water infrastructure, environmental impact assessment, and GIS-based modeling projects across Thailand and internationally, including work with USAID. His expertise integrates hydraulic modeling (e.g., MIKE Hydro River, MIKE21, MIKE11), water quality simulation, and web-based GIS application development to support water management, irrigation planning, and infrastructure decision-making.
