Serine Mohammedi is a visiting scholar at the Biological and Agricultural Engineering (BAE) Department, working in Daccache’s Advanced Irrigation Lab. She is a PhD candidate in the Sustainable Land Management program within the Inter-University Research PhD at Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro and Politecnico di Bari -Italy-. Serine holds an Engineering Degree in Agriculture and a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Hydraulics (2021) from the Algerian School of Agronomy (ENSA). She later obtained an MSc in Sustainable Water and Land Management in Agriculture from the International Agronomic Mediterranean Institute of Bari (IAMB), where she was awarded Best Master’s Student. Her research focuses on mapping services for pressurized irrigation systems to enhance precision irrigation techniques. My primary research interests include sustainable water management and irrigation system design, with a strong emphasis on integrating remote sensing and modeling to optimize on-demand irrigation systems.
